Windows 10 change remote desktop listening port free download
RDP-Tcp,02,etc, with the same information and each a different port number which results in multiple listening ports as well as the original default I have tried to do this with several Windows 10 Professional installs and each behaves the same, they refuse the remote desktop connection almost like a firewall blocking the port and only the default works. I have tried just modifying the existing default registry key to another port, also tried leaving that key and importing additional keys with alternate port numbers using standard import.
Obviously there is no firewall involved, one machine in particular is a fresh Windows 10 Pro install with no 3rd party apps yet installed, essentially "straight out of the box", with standard Windows firewall turned off for domain, private, and public profiles, remote desktop enabled and tested working on port , change port number, and connection will not work! Connections to other Windows 7 Professional workstations in the same network with alternate ports configured are all working as expected.
